A Night of Giving and Discovery: Tampa’s Beloved BBQ Brand Brings Purpose to MOSI

TAMPA, FL — When you blend mouthwatering BBQ, hands-on science exhibits, and a heart for community service, you get something truly special. On April 18th, Tampa’s renowned Museum of Science & Industry (MOSI) will open its doors for an evening unlike any other — “A Night at the Museum”, a fundraising event combining food, fun, and philanthropy.

This unique gathering is hosted by A Servant’s Way, the newly formed nonprofit organization launched by the team behind Station House BBQ, and is co-organized with fellow community-focused nonprofit Revive and Restore.

A Venue Made for Discovery and Community

Set against the backdrop of MOSI’s interactive science and technology exhibits, guests will be treated to an immersive experience that’s both educational and entertaining. Known for sparking curiosity in all ages, MOSI has long been one of Tampa’s most beloved venues — and for good reason. From hands-on engineering challenges to planetarium shows, it offers an environment where imagination meets innovation.

On this night, however, the museum’s halls will echo not just with curiosity, but with compassion.

A Servant’s Way: From Firehouse BBQ to Feeding Families

The event marks an important milestone for Anthony and Allison Fonseca, the husband-and-wife duo behind Station House BBQ. After years of serving Tampa Bay with their firefighter-rooted BBQ traditions, the Fonsecas have launched A Servant’s Way Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on feeding and uplifting the underserved across the region — including homeless individuals, first responders, educators, and foster families.

“A Servant’s Way is about more than meals,” says co-founder Anthony Fonseca. “It’s about creating moments of dignity, love, and support for people who need it most.”

Joining Forces with Revive and Restore

Partnering with Revive and Restore, a nonprofit known for its dedication to homeless outreach and community transformation, this event is the culmination of shared values: service, compassion, and sustainable impact.

Together, the two organizations have already delivered thousands of meals and hygiene kits to those in need — and the April 18th fundraiser aims to supercharge that momentum heading into 2025.

A Night at the Museum: What to Expect

From 6pm to 9pm, attendees will enjoy full access to MOSI exhibits, live entertainment, raffles, auctions, and — of course — an unforgettable dining experience. On the menu:

  • Brisket Carving Station

  • Mac & Cheese Station

  • Greek Salad Bar

  • And signature desserts crafted by Chef Lori, founder of Revive and Restore

Proceeds from the event will directly support local outreach programs, weekly meal drives, and resource distribution for families and children in need.

Tickets and Support

This event is more than a fundraiser — it’s a celebration of what happens when a community comes together with heart, purpose, and some seriously good BBQ.
